Lucille H. Deutsch

Lucy is Director of Geriatric and Caregiver Outreach and has been with Family Service since June of 2006.  She manages our Caregiver Outreach in the Workplace program and, most recently, was instrumental in developing our new Enhanced Geriatric Care Management program.  She has a baccalaureate degree in sociology from Brooklyn College, C.U.N.Y., as well as post-graduate certificates in gerontology from both Rutgers and Boston Universities. Lucy is a licensed certified assisted living administrator, and is certified as a care manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.

Lucy is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, has served on the board of the Long Term Living Association, and is an active member of the Caregivers Coalition of Morris County.  She facilitates caregiver workshops, seminars, and support groups, is also in private practice as an eldercare consultant, and has been a family caregiver herself for more than twenty years.
