Patricia O'Dell

Patricia M. O’Dell, MSW, LCSW, is the Clinical Director and Supervisor of the Adult and Family Treatment Program at FSMC and has been with the agency since 2004.  Previously she worked at Rutgers University, School of Social Work, serving as Assistant Dean and Director of Field Instruction.  She has also had the opportunity to work as a Medical Social Worker/Discharge Planner, an agency administrator, and a clinician in a variety of settings. 

Pat obtained her Master’s of Social Work from New York University.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has a specialty in grief and bereavement counseling.  She is an active member of National Association of Social Workers (NASW) – NJ Chapter and sits on NASW’s Board-appointed committee on Diversity and Cultural Competency.  She has given many workshops and presentations for FSMC and NASW as well as other professional and community groups on a variety of topics including clinical practice, supervision, ethics, cultural competency, leadership, loss, grief and bereavement.
